National Code of Conduct
On February 4th, 2020, at The Valentín Imperial Riviera Maya, we voluntarily signed the
National Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children and Adolescents in the Travel
and Tourism Sector, with the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of Mexico and
we are committed to its immediate implementation.
Our commitment involves to inform guests about the following:
1. We are an establishment that guides its activities under the framework of corporate
social responsibility, to assist in the prevention, detection and denunciation of any
exploitation form of children and adolescents.
2. Within our facilities and in accordance with the commitments derived from the National
Code of Conduct, we develop actions to protect the rights of children and adolescents,
including information, training and awareness raising for our managers, employees,
collaborators and workers, as well as for our suppliers and the chain of services allied to
3. We reject any type of human trafficking, especially the sexual and / or labor
exploitation of children and adolescents form, so in case of detecting a situation related
to this type of crime by any client or provider, we will activate our Protocol of Action
and we will inform the corresponding authorities.
4. The managers, employees, collaborators and workers, who are part of this company /
establishment, endorse the commitment made with the Ministry of Tourism through the
adoption of the National Code of Conduct, to offer our services with the quality and
kindness that our guests deserve. We contribute to develop ethical and sustainable
tourist destinations, among domestic and foreign travelers where human rights are
